Beautiful wrought-iron Victorian bridge spanning the swirling Mersey, with stunning treescapes and views towards Chorlton Ees. Important historical boundary between Lancashire and Cheshire (now Manchester and Trafford), linking Hardy Farm area and Streford Ees. A hidden gem of a place, where Chorlton Brook meanders and tinkles through the last remnant of ancient woodland associated with Hough End Hall. Now surrounded by Mauldet h Road West, Hough End Fields and the Hough End Centre (Greater Manchester Police Centre's stables and dog-kennels). Listed with the Woodland Trust (under 'Wuhan Wood'). Beautiful trees, including a stand of hornbeam and large poplars.

Thrilled to be exhibiting with Marcia Harding and Cate Gibson at Battery Park Juice Bar, Chorlton, from this week. This is part of Chorlton Arts Festival, but the opening at the venue was delayed due to unforseen circumstances. Open daily, except Tuesdays and Sundays.
